Glass and Glazing for Interior Design

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Glass manufacturing and how it is modified for decorative applications.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  1. Learn the difference between regular float glass and low-iron float glass.
  2. Learn the different ways glass can be modified for decorative applications.
  3. Understand the float glass manufacturing process
  4. Discuss safety glass, why it is necessary, and the two main ways of providing safety glass.
