Imagine a healthcare facility that, in an effort to promote patient, visitor, and staff wellness, takes its design cues from the lush surrounding serene blue-and-green landscapes. This particular children’s hospital and women’s pavilion is among the most autism-friendly hospitals in America. One design goal was to create a serene, soothing atmosphere for autistic patients of all ages.
