Overview

A cohesive lobby repositioning across four buildings at the Embarcadero Center in San Francisco. Designed by Gensler, the retrofit utilizes McGrory Glass etched black laminated panels to create a strong contrast against textured white walls. The project features the patented McGrory CaptiveHook® system—the only seismically rated mounting solution for large-format-glass wall cladding. This modular, plug-and-play system allows for “clean installation” and simplified maintenance, where any single panel can be safely removed and replaced post-install without disturbing the surrounding glass.
