Overview
The Nexus Building at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY, represents a modern approach to higher education architecture. Designed by Ballinger, the facility features extensive use of custom orange architectural glass fabricated by McGrory Glass. In the main lobby and atrium, durable orange glass cladding provides a high-impact visual anchor that reinforces the university’s identity. Throughout the interior, translucent orange partitions offer a balance of visual privacy and acoustic performance while allowing natural light to permeate student spaces. This project highlights the color matching and fabrication skills required to create a unified aesthetic across diverse glass applications.
