Overview
The Westchester-Woodhaven MTA Station Towers utilize a high-performance life-safety glazing package to support public transit infrastructure. McGrory Glass supplied AGC Pyrobel fire-resistant glazing and slender steel Forster Thermfix Vario fire-resistant frames to maximize daylighting capacity while meeting rigorous fire-safety standards. Additionally, a white laminated version was fabricated for the spandrel areas to ensure consistent visual transitions across the transportation hubs’ exterior. All solutions were fabricated in-house at our 250,000-square-foot manufacturing facilities.
