A premier school security glazing project at Grandville Middle School in Grandville, MI. McGrory Glass provided a single-source solution by supplying both DefendEd™ laminated security glazing and FireDefend™ fire-rated security glass. Designed by GMB Architects and managed by Owen-Ames-Kimball Construction, the project prioritizes student wellness by maximizing natural light and visibility. These high-performance systems meet rigorous life-safety codes while supporting anti-bullying initiatives through increased transparency. McGrory Glass ensures exacting fabrication and unified aesthetics across both fire- and security-rated openings, eliminating the need for design compromises in educational environments.
