Unlike traditional materials, it delivers an exceptionally clear, neutral gray tone completely free of amber tinting that matches standard architectural float glass.

Unlike traditional glass-ceramics that feature an amber or yellow-brown tint, the SCHOTT PYRAN® line offers an exceptionally clear, neutral gray tone that closely mimics standard architectural float glass. This ensures true-color rendition and high light transmission across both interior and exterior spaces.
Industry-Leading Sheet Sizes
Manufactured using SCHOTT’s proprietary micro-float process, the product is available in the largest sheet sizes in the industry (up to 51″ x 99″). This allows architects to design modern, open spaces without requiring narrow, sectioned-off panes to achieve the required fire rating.
Rigorous Fire and Thermal Shock Protection
Certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), this glazing material withstands severe thermal shock, including immediate exposure to high-pressure cold water from a fire hose, and provides reliable fire ratings ranging from 20 to 180 minutes, effectively preventing the spread of fire, smoke, and hot gases.
Impact Safety Configurations
