For Continental Grain Company’s New York City office, Ted Moudis Associates chose a modern classic design that uses glass throughout to highlight important elements of company culture. “For private offices, floor-to-ceiling glass fronts in sleek, black frames with sliding double doors create a sense of transparency… Inspired by the timeless International Style related to modern architecture, TMA built glass “pavilions” that offer acoustical privacy while allowing outdoor views and light to filter through the spaces to the center of the floor plate… The doors into these rooms are synchronized double sliders that (with a simple pulling motion) open the offices into an open-plan environment, reinforcing the client's “open door” policy and desire to foster collaboration.” – tedmoudis. com
